Unity

I love my sisters but marriage makes it a unique dynamic. My husband keeps his relationships simple. He is an only child. He knows my sisters are not religious, nor spiritual. Well, only one sister is a practicing Catholic, her husband married her in a Court in California they will celebrate a one year anniversary in May. Hopefully a spiritual wedding will help them see themselves as one team. Just the church is one body in Christ, one spirit, one God.

I love my sisters and it breaks my heart when one of them is being mean to the other.

Remember, I’m not God, therefore I’m not the judge between them. I remind the sister who’s been disrespected/hurt that God is omniscient, and that he sees everything.

Matthew 18:21-22

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

Jesus is the Savior

Are you spiritual? Do you believe in God? If you were in a car accident going home from work and your taken to the hospital and asked if you need to speak to a priest, Rabi or have you any last requests? Do you have a written advance directive? I want you to have eternal life. I want you to go to heaven. Think about it. Say these words. “Jesus forgive me for my sins, you know all of them, I believe you are the Son of God. Please help me and help me follow you. Tell someone if you have accepted Jesus as you Lord and Savior. Get baptized. Click on my home church’s link. I attend Calvarch Church in Aurora, Colorado.

Walking Forward

How do I walk forward?

Every three years I participate in a nine year CADASIL study

https://www.ninds.nih.gov/health-information/disorders/cadasil

Common symptoms of CADASIL include:

  • Migraine headaches with aura
  • Multiple strokes progressing to dementia
  • Confusion or coma (caused by acute encephalopathy, which can accompany CADASIL)
  • Progressive decline in memory and thinking skills
  • Mental health issues, including apathy, depression, and bipolar disorder

Less common symptoms of CADASIL include:

  • Seizures
  • Vision problems
  • Slow movements and tremors (parkinsonism)
  • Numbness or weakness
  • Rapid onset of vertigo, nausea/vomiting, and abnormal gait

The stroke I had in December 2024 was memorable and a reminder. I’m not God and He is in control. I’m surrendered to whatever He wants to do with me to testify and keep volunteering in the children’s ministry as He allows me to walk (mobility), talk(speech) and see (vision/sight).

I got double vision. It really gave me a scare I thought what next? God is in control of my anatomy. Yes, God allowed me to regain my sight. The double vision lasted one week. Crazy but humbling. He let’s me see. I got new glasses and the ophthalmologist said my eyes were like normal. Nothing negative other than having CADASIL. God! CADASIL! That’s sums it up. Brain is in control of my vision! Of course I had a stroke. The MRI, CAT scan were physical images that state I had a stroke. No argument there. The evidence are the images.

God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent. Definition of omniscient he knows everything. Omnipresence means all-present. This term means that God is capable of being everywhere at the same time. It means his divine presence encompasses the whole of the universe. The word omnipotent is having unlimited power and omnipresent and is the Great almighty God. Why underestimate Him? He knows your situation. He is real. He does exist. You are not a mistake. He created you with a plan and purpose. Testify why you believe?

He is sovereign. The reminder that He can do whatever He wants. I’m the daughter of King Jesus. I’m a child of God. You can also be His child just accept Him as the Lord of your life. He’s in control. He created the universe and you in it.

This stroke shook me up! Psalm 119 is the longest scripture which describes the God of the universe.

Salvation is believing Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died on the cross to pay for our sins. No one is perfect. No matter what the diagnosis. You are not perfect and this is why Jesus died on the cross for everyone. No one is perfect. We all need a savior.

Psalm 139:8 New King James Version

If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in [a]hell, behold, You are there.

Read and pray daily. Open your Bible daily. Talk to God daily and thank Him for the life He allows you to live.

Jesus is the Savior

1 John 3New King James Version

The Command to Love

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of [a]God! Therefore the world does not know [b]us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

Glorify Him Daily

Easier said than done. How do you glorify Him, God daily? Can you wake up and be thankful? God created each of us with a plan and purpose. Do you believe it?

President John F. Kennedy state,”What can you do for your country? Or the country can do for you? ” Something like that.

https://www.britannica.com/biography/John-F-Kennedy

I ask you, “What can you do for God today?”What glorifies Him? How does He get the glory in your life? What is glory? Oxford definition: take great pride or pleasure in.

So what gives God pleasure in your activity? Are you enjoying nature. Did you know God created everything? Do you believe what the Bible states about Genesis?

Genesis 1 (NKJV):

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [a]was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

So what! Who cares, what’s the big deal you might ask? The woods, great plains, beaches, lakes, streams? All living creatures? Creatures in the ocean and land? Are you shut indoors by choice, or are health issues limiting you to move physical? How about a window view? Please forgive me, I’m not judging. I’m simply asking the question.

I don’t know what holds you back. Desire to want to move and check out your surroundings? Desire or not the choice is yours. So what are you doing today for his glory?

How does God get the glory in your daily activity? Do you question you plan and purpose? Self reflection question. As a Christian my identity is in my Savior, Jesus Christ. God sent Jesus to die on the cross for our salvation. Believing Jesus is the Son of God and that He died just to save me from my sins. Sins.

Are you a good witness to the world around you? Can they see Jesus in your behavior?Easier said than done. How do you glorify Him, God daily? Can you wake up and be thankful? God created each of us with a plan and purpose. Do you believe it? I believe it

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

However you live your life today, think about giving God the glory.
